It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Design Contest WIN 4000 POINTS, 20$ AND MORE!I've wanted to hold a design contest for a long time now, and finally I've gathered enough points to do it :D

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)
-I like more natural base colors, but with smaller markings in unnatural colors like blue or red
-Long tails, big/long
Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you  finally  made  the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq  to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean  more quality to the paintings, am i right?. 
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only  to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Macro lens after a 12 month wait

Yes, today, I finally got my Macro lens, Tamron 90mm f2.8 lens Nikon fit for my Nikon D3000. 14 months ago I purchased the Nikon D3000, and 12 months ago I planned to get a Macro lens. I have always admired the capability of such a lens to produce such amazing detail. Finally after my 1st degree, being able to work in an architecture office, I have been able to get the funds to get my Macro lens (all previous money was spent on my degree, material and print costs can be really expensive for an architecture degree!!)

Maybe my architectural side has got the better of me, but I cannot wait to take highly detailed shots on a micro-scale.

I managed to take one photo before my battery ran out, and now have to wait a few hours to get a fully charged battery (I seriously need to get a back up battery)

I may also get a tripod or 2 designed specifically for macro shots (my old one broke and have none left, so all my shots are hand-held for the past 6-7 months).

My SLR camera has given me so much fun, I just think the fun is about to get that much better.

I will be posting many results soon, so keep checking my DA account if you want to see them.

whoa~~~O_O :faint: :iconotlplz: I really thought your camera has to be something like an expensive Canon or Nikon, you know, the pro-levels (like the Nikon D300s)~~~didn't thought it'd be a D3000!!:eager:

more than £300, I would say that the D300 is more an intermediate level, bordering PRO, I would love a D700 as the D3 models are way too expensive

O_O I think the D300s is a pro...it has the same level with the D700, juz that the D700 is an FX camera.

D700 has a full frame sensor. I would really love a d300s. Have the money to get it, but have to save it for other things unfortunately.
